PRIVATE RESIDENCES
The garden retreat.
Define a conversation area without closing in the landscape. Set columns around circulation, planting and the afternoon sun.

ELEVATION SHADE / SHADE SAILS
Architectural fabric turns a sunny footprint into a place to pause, play or gather. Our shade-sail collection spans residential courtyards, outdoor learning, parks, sports facilities and shared commercial spaces.

PRIVATE RESIDENCES
Define a conversation area without closing in the landscape. Set columns around circulation, planting and the afternoon sun.

SCHOOLS / OUTDOOR LEARNING
Create shaded seating and activity zones with clear routes and visible edges. Coverage follows the places students actually use.

PARKS / PLAYGROUNDS
Shade activity areas and nearby seating with an integrated layout that considers equipment clearances and visibility.

SPORTS / SPECTATOR AREAS
Give spectators and families a shaded gathering point. Coordinate columns, field access and usable seating beneath the canopy.

OPEN SPACE / DOG PARKS
Bring relief to exposed picnic tables, trail connections and dog-park gathering zones with durable, maintainable structures.

METRO DISTRICTS / PUBLIC PLAZAS
Compose sails with pavilions, landscaping and accessible paths to make a shared outdoor place feel intentional.
THE RIGHT MATERIAL
Breathable mesh filters sunlight while allowing airflow. Waterproof membrane systems need a different specification, with deliberate drainage geometry. We select the fabric, tensioning system and supporting steel around the intended use.
FABRIC ARCHITECTURE / COLORADO EXPOSURE
Selected steel shade systems are fabricated at an IAS-certified facility in Dallas, Texas. The design coordinates framework, fabric, cables and connections. Fabric and component origin is confirmed for the selected project.
Sail geometry, tension and attachment positions influence how wind forces travel through the system. We coordinate the shade footprint with engineered posts, connections and foundations instead of simply stretching fabric across the patio.
Architectural mesh is selected for shade and airflow. A waterproof membrane is a different specification with different drainage needs. Fabric choice, geometry and the required protection are part of the initial design.
Colorado wind and snow requirements are established for the exact structure. We confirm whether the selected design is intended for permanent year-round use and document any seasonal or extreme-weather instructions.
THE DETAILS MATTER
The specific design must be evaluated for local loads. USA SHADE describes site-specific analysis of foundations, framework, connections and fabric tension. We coordinate those requirements for the selected configuration and property.
Existing structures need review for the new tension and wind forces. Attachment points and footing scope are part of the design; appearance alone cannot establish their capacity.
Manufacturer specifications apply to the selected model and configuration. Final project documents establish the requirements for your property.
